About U.S. Food & Drug Administration Office of Regulatory Affairs
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration's (FDA) Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) is the lead office for all agency field activities. ORA inspects regulated products and manufacturers, conducts sample analyses of regulated products, and reviews imported products offered for entry into the United States. In addition to executing its mission through its federal workforce, ORA also works with its state, local, tribal, territorial, and foreign counterparts to further the agency’s mission. ORA, which includes virtually all the field offices of FDA as well as a significant presence in headquarters, serves as the traditional eyes and ears of the agency through its network of investigators and laboratory analysts. ORA works closely with each of the Centers and with other components of the agency to enforce the laws that protect and advance the public health. At ORA, you can make a difference in protecting the health of the American people. ORA has an ongoing need for qualified individuals with backgrounds in health-related sciences, regulatory policy, and information technology.
