Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist
The incumbent is responsible for serving as a cybersecurity lead directly pertaining to network security monitoring, cybersecurity architecture planning, research and development, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity program oversight to meet North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) regulatory compliance and Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) mandates. This position also has the responsibility for applying technical and analytical skills in order to plan, develop, document, test, implement, maintain, assess, and problem solve, and apply various cybersecurity assures to SWPA’s systems.
You must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 level in developing and/or implementing security plans, policies and/or procedures. Participates in audit reviews and/or risk assessments, security tests, and evaluations in order to ensure systems are fully accredited and comply with all applicable security standards.
